Multidisciplinary Motor Neuron Disease Clinic
The Multidisciplinary MND service established with the support of the NSW MNDA evolved in early 2004 from previous MND services at the Institute of Neurological Sciences at POWH, dating back to 1994.
The MND Clinic is staffed by a core team including; A/Prof Matthew Kiernan (Neurologist), Margie Zoing (MND CNC/ co-ordinator), Nina Brodaty (Physiotherapist) Jacqueline Gregor (Occupational Therapist), Tracy Kelly (Speech therapist), Jessie Tangilapa (Social Worker), Helena Allison (Dietician) and A/Prof David McKenzie (Respiratory Physician). In addition, the clinic is attended by an MND Association representative. This clinic is also linked to the Fronto-temporal dementia clinical service.
